The American Institutes for Research have released the newest findings from a study examining the ways in which a set of schools provide opportunities for students to acquire complex knowledge and deeper learning skills, conducted in collaboration with the Research Alliance.

The new report, “Deeper Learning and Graduation: Is There a Relationship?“ discusses how the link between opportunities to engage in deeper learning and graduation rates differed across study sites (i.e., California and New York City). And, a new brief, “Deeper Learning and College Enrollment: What Happens After High School,” uses updated postsecondary data to explore whether students who attended a high school focused on deeper learning are more likely to enroll in or stay enrolled in college than their peers who attended other high schools.
