"School Organizational Contexts, Teacher Turnover, and Student Achievement: Evidence from Panel Data,” a new article by Matthew A. Kraft (Brown University), William H. Marinell, and Darrick Shen-Wei Yee (Harvard University) was released in the October 2016 issue of the American Education Research Journal. The paper draws on data from the NYC School Survey to examine the relationship between school organizational contexts, teacher turnover, and student achievement in NYC middle schools.

The new paper presents findings from the study that informed Schools as Organizations: Examining School Climate, Teacher Turnover, and Student Achievement in NYC, a policy brief by Drs. Kraft, Marinell, and Yee, which was released by the Research Alliance in March 2016.
