The Content Core in music combines pedagogy with content so that students acquire musical knowledge and skills in the content of good pedagogical practice. Thus students study repertoire that will be suitable for their teaching as well as adding to their knowledge of music. As they acquire materials, they also acquire pedagogical techniques and methods.
