Educational Theatre Faculty: Randy Susevich

Randy Susevich (Technical Director) B.M.E. from Baldwin-Wallace College, M.M. from Indiana University, M.F.A. Technical Theatre and Design at The University of Iowa and Western Illinois University, and The University of Iowa (doctoral study); joined the NYU Steinhardt department of Music and Performing Arts Professions as Technical Director in 2006. He was technical director and lighting designer at CoeCollege in Iowa for the past nine years, building and lighting over 40 theatre productions. Randy has also been resident lighting designer for the Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre and worked as a carpenter for The Final Season, a film (now in post-production) about the nationally-ranked Norway, Iowa high school baseball team. He has also worked and designed for The University of Iowa’s Hancher Auditorium, Timberlake Playhouse, and the Eisenhower Dance Ensemble. He previously taught music at both high school and college levels.
