Sample Course Schedules

Study full- or part-time, take summer courses or add a January intersession class: there are several different ways to complete the 36-credit MA program. A sample of three sequences are offered below, but many more options are available upon individual advisement. NYU Steinhardt also offers ways to incorporate global studies into your course sequence, through short-term summer or January intersession graduate programs. Global courses enable you to gain comparative perspectives on media and culture.

Students interested in pursuing part-time study should contact an MCC graduate adviser for an individualized sample schedule.
