Aron Glennon is a Founders Fellow in the Music Technology PhD program at NYU. His current research involves automatic programming in Max. He is generally interested in real-time interactivity and using machine learning/artificial intelligence as a compositional tool. His main motivation is to write computer programs that produce novel musical frameworks, which inspire him to compose, improvise, and/or create. In other words, he is not interested in programming a machine to create music on its own, but instead to place him in situations that he will flourish in creatively. He composes and performs indie/electronic rock in the greater NYC area and is a Senior Software Engineer at Cakewalk, Inc.
