MA in Art Therapy

NYU Steinhardt's American Art Therapy Association (AATA)-accredited MA in Art Therapy integrates visual arts practice with psychotherapy, preparing you to harness the creative power of art for mental health assessment and treatment.

Help people cope with stress and anxiety, and build self-esteem, confidence, and resilience through creative self-expression.

Work in clinical practice in a variety of settings including hospitals, outpatient centers, rehabilitation facilities, community organizations, schools, and private mental health clinics.
