Agustina Laurito is a 5th year doctoral candidate at NYU Wagner and a Research Assistant at IESP. Her dissertation uses quasi-experimental methods and large administrative and survey data to examine the how external factors, such as home country shocks, the environment, and food assistance programs, affect child well-being. At IESP she is part of a team investigating the academic effects of exposure to neighborhood violence, including the role of school climate in moderating this relationship.
