NYU Commencement at Yankee Stadium
The date for the All-University Commencement for the Class of 2024 is Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Commencement ceremonies will also take place in May at NYU Abu Dhabi and NYU Shanghai, with individual school ceremonies occurring throughout New York City. Dates will be announced as they become confirmed.
Important Details for Students
Tickets for Radio City Music Hall
- Download the MSG app (powered by Ticketmaster).
- The app's login should be your NYU email address (NetID). All tickets will be sent to your NYU email and must match the MSG app information. You will be asked to create an account.
- Guest tickets: Guests must also download the MSG app. You will forward tickets to your guest(s) using the app and the email they use for the app, or you can send a screenshot of their ticket. Using the app is recommended so there are no issues at entry, such as ensuring guests have unique tickets.
- Remember to SAVE A TICKET FOR YOURSELF! All graduates will also need to provide a ticket to enter the theater.
- Tickets are tentatively scheduled to be sent to all graduates on Friday, May 10, 2024.

GradPass (QR Code)
- Your name will be announced as you cross the stage at Radio City Music Hall.
- All graduates are assigned a QR Code (aka: GradPass) via Marching Order to show at the podium from a mobile device or printout that gets scanned to activate your name to be announced.
- Before the ceremony, make sure you screenshot, download, or print your GradPass (QR Code) from Marching Order, the RSVP portal.
Arrival Time & Seating
- AM Ceremony: Graduates please arrive by 9:00 AM; doors open for guests at 9:15 AM.
- PM Ceremony: Graduates please arrive by 2:00 PM; doors open for guests at 2:15 PM.
- Graduating students should arrive wearing their academic attire and will be seated with their Academic Department during the Ceremony. Guest seating is general admission.
