A two-week intensive course that explores “City Food and Sustainability” in India. Integrating the study of food systems and culture, the course seeks to unpack a range of topics, from the politics of street food vending and cosmopolitan cultures of consumption to waste and water management, organic farming and biodiversity, among other topics. You will be fully immersed in India’s urban food cultures through conversations with local experts and a variety of field trips to sites such as markets, farms, temples and restaurants.
