Engagement
The Astor International Travel Fellowship promotes dialogue and curricular innovation among full-time classroom teachers in the New York City public schools, NYU Steinhardt students and faculty, and the general public through the following means:
- An annual fall symposium each September, where Fellows present their research and plans to integrate their educational experience into their classroom practice.
- The Astor Fellows Alumni Network which will foster ongoing mentoring, collaboration, and innovation amongst fellowship recipients and teachers in training at NYU Steinhardt.
