The NYU Purchasing Card, commonly referred to as a “P-Card,” is a tool offered to New York University employees who are responsible for procuring goods and services for their department. The P-Card is a University liability Master Card used for purchasing low-dollar items not available on i-Buy NYU; it has no effect on the cardholder’s personal credit. The P-Card provides University employees with a quick and convenient method of payment.
The CTA card is used for business travel expenses for NYU employees and University guests/visitors such as job applicants and speakers. The CTA Card is a University liability card and does not impact the cardholder's personal credit.
Reconciling Transactions in GRAM
For instructions on how to reconcile transactions in GRAM, please refer to the P-Card & CTA Card Guidelines.
Due to a significant increase in fraudulent transactions for all payment card issuers globally, banks have implemented strict preventive controls to mitigate this fraud risk. As a result, payment card transactions may be declined more frequently due to suspicious triggers or activities. Please review this guidance to prevent declines of legitimate transactions on your card.
Please be vigilant in monitoring account activity for fraudulent transactions. If a fraudulent transaction occurs on the card, please call Bank of America at the phone number listed on the card to have the card canceled and a new one re-issued. Next, please email email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org to inform them of the compromise. Please refer to the Compromised Cards Procedure for more details.
Locked out of your GRAM Account?
Cardholders locked out of their accounts due to entering incorrect passwords or challenge question answers should email email@example.com for assistance.
