Shifting the Ground: Conversations on the Importance of Culturally Responsive Education and Curriculum Scorecards

Wed May 14
2025
6 pm - 7:30 pm ET

Join Researchers Dr. Leah Q. Peoples & Dr. Maria G. Hernandez for an interactive and engaging conversation based on NYU Metro Center’s latest report: Conversations that Shift the Ground. This report shares key findings from our recent study that explored outcomes associated with using the Culturally Responsive English Language Arts (ELA) and Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) Curriculum Scorecards.

This dynamic virtual conversation will feature three sections: an overview of the report with a principal investigator, a panel with culturally responsive practitioners and thinkers who will share reflections about What Worked, and Community Circles with attendees, panelists, and researchers about applying insights to our current educational landscape.

Be sure to join us on May 14th 6pm for this insightful panel discussion.

Whether you're attending NYU Metro Center’s full conference or are simply passionate about transforming education, this is a unique opportunity to hear from changemakers at the forefront of this work and engage in timely dialogue on how we can build more affirming school environments for all.
