Hate crimes, harassment, and bias incidents against the Asian and Pacific Islander communities have risen dramatically during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our students, faculty, staff, and administrators have expressed to us that they often do not feel safe or supported on campus, in class, or in their daily lives.
In response to the community, we are offering this panel event to highlight how to better support our API peers, prioritize their safety, and educate the wider community on issues that affect them.
Please join us as we learn from our esteemed panelists from the Office of Global Services, Public Safety, Counseling & Wellness, the Center for Student Life, and Director of the Asian American Cultural Center at Yale University.
Our programming includes lectures, trainings, workshops, and chances for our community to get involved.
