NYU Steinhardt has been the academic home to Black Women, who have made a difference in our society, since its inception. They have excelled in areas of activism/education (Dorothy Height & Pearl Primus), Politics (Velmanette Montgomery & Inonge Mbikusita-Lewanika), Health Care (Cernice Ferguson), and so much more. To pay homage to the excellence of black women in our community, join us for a panel discussion with community members who identify as Black Women to discuss their journey at NYU Steinhardt.
