Join the Steinhardt Undergraduate Student Government for an event that will further look at the differences and divisions between the African and African American communities and how we responded to protests around the world – like #BLM, #EndSars, and #AfricaIsBleeding among others – and move forward.
This event be a way to address and discuss matters arising on the African continent and how to bridge the gap between the African and African American communities. We'll feature moderators and guest speakers from both African and African-American communities and backgrounds who will discuss their experiences, the tensions between these two communities, and why and how we’re addressing the gap moving forward to become a united community.
