Counseling Psychology Program Seminar

Orientation to the profession of psychology and the specialty of counseling psychology in the context of the sociological and historical literature on professionalization. Major issues in psychology and in counseling psychology across areas of theory, research, and the practice are considered in depth. Major foci of the course also include the ethical issues in research and practice and the socialization of students to the program and department.
