New Student Orientation

 All new students are required to attend this orientation, during which you will receive information about the Education and Social Policy program requirements and the degree process. You will meet with program faculty and current students.  Please see the schedule below for details.

1:00-1:30PM: Check in 

1:30-2:30PM:  Welcome and Introductions

Introduction of key faculty and administrative staff in the department
Student introductions and open dialogue about expectations

2:30-3:00PM:  Coursework and Academic Integrity

Learn about course requirements and electives, how to utilize your academic adviser effectively, and how academic integrity is defined at NYU.

3:00-4:00PM: How to Get Education & Social Policy Work Experience: Current student & Alumni panel

We would like to invite you to a welcome event for admitted MA students in the Humanities and Social Sciences department, of which the Education and Social Policy program is a part.  The reception will take place on Thursday, April 10th from 5-7pm.  The admissions office will send all admitted students an official invitation.
