BA in Education Studies

Electives

Students in the Education Studies BA program can customize their programs of study by taking various elective courses. Students will take two restricted electives in order to gain a broader scope on important topics in education. In addition, students have the freedom to choose 16 credits of unrestricted electives.

Restricted Electives

Unrestricted Electives

Students have the opportunity to take 16 credits of unrestricted electives. You will work with an adviser to choose the best electives for your program of study.

Please note that up to 4 credits of your unrestricted electives can be earned through an optional internship. If you are interested in pursuing an internship, contact the Education Studies adviser at edstudies.adviser@nyu.edu.
