Jeanne Bannon oversees a wide range of support and assistance for NYU Steinhardt students, faculty, and staff.  These include New Student Seminars and Orientation, workshops and programming to help students at all levels achieve academic success, education and personal counseling, and career exploration. The Office of Counseling and Student Services has a staff of student affairs professionals that collaborates with faculty, students, and staff to provide an enriching educational experience for the School’s diverse undergraduate and graduate student populations; and embodies the School’s concern for all phases of a student’s development and the diversity of student needs.

Ms. Bannon serves as an adviser for the Deans Scholars program, which is an honors program in Steinhardt, and she serves on various committees and participates in events and programming with her counterparts across the NYU community.  

Prior to coming to NYU Steinhardt, Ms. Bannon was at Pace University in New York City. She has a MA in Counselor Education from Kean University and a BA in Educational Studies from the University of Delaware.
