JOB SUMMARY:
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) administers 256 million acres of public land, most of it in Alaska and the western states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon,
Utah, and Wyoming. The Bureau of Land Management also manages public land in the eastern United States, with a State Office located in Virginia. The Bureau is also responsible for 700 million acres of
federally-owned minerals. In addition to mineral resources, the Bureau manages forests, wilderness areas, fish and wildlife habitat and rangeland.

This position is located in the Office of the National Landscape Conservation System (NLCS) and Community Partnerships, Division of Education, Interpretation and Partnerships (EIP). This office has the responsibility for developing and implementing strategic direction, policy, guidance, and standards for the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM's) youth, education, interpretation, volunteers, partnerships, tourism, and cooperative conservation programs, which focus on resource management priorities such as controlling the spread of invasive plants. EIP implements program strategies in coordination with BLM State Directors; BLM State Education and Volunteer Coordinators; BLM State Interpretive Leads; the Division of NLCS; and the BLM Energy, Heritage Education, Recreation, Range, and other resource programs.

SALARY RANGE: 86,927.00 - 133,543.00 USD /year
