Qualified candidates will have excellent research, writing and communication skills, and have the ability and motivation to work independently and demonstrate an interest in environmental issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Project management abilities and initiative.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Candidate should also have some experience navigating the web.
- MS Excel/MSAccess will be used to create databases.
Two internship positions start immediately and are ongoing. Interns set their own hours, work independently and meet weekly to review work progress. The position will be a great experience for young, ambitious students with an environmental perspective to gain insight into the very latest on NYC's evolving coast and coastal stewardship.
