Research Analyst II

Rishika Jain is a Research Analyst at the Research Alliance for New York City Schools, where she works on a study of New York City’s Computer Science for All initiative. Her primary focus is quantitative data analysis. 

Before joining the Research Alliance,  Rishika taught computer science to middle and high school students and served as the Makerspace Coordinator at the Hackley School. She enjoyed teaching and collaborating with faculty to develop interdisciplinary curricular units with project-based, hands-on lessons at their core. Before that, Rishika designed, developed, and led the maker program and newly-built Makerspace at the Thayer Academy Middle School as the Director of the Collaborative Design Lab. 

Rishika is a Candidate of Master of Arts in Education Policy with a concentration in Data Analysis and Research Methods at Teachers College Columbia University. She holds a Master of Arts in Instructional Technology and Media from Teachers College, Columbia University and a Bachelor of Design from the Indian Institute of Technology.
