How to Apply

The application process is meant to identify candidates showing the strongest potential for being an effective educator; who are the most committed to teaching in a shortage area in New York City; and who have the greatest financial need. Eligible candidates must:

  • Apply and be admitted to one of the eligible master's degree programs
    • Fast Track Summer Entry deadline has been extended to February 15
    • Fall Entry deadline has been extended to February 15
  • Complete and submit the supplemental scholarship application by March 1st
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) being sure that the information is sent to NYU (institution code 002785)
