General Information

The Training For All Teachers (TFAT) Project is a Title III grant serving middle school teachers in New York City's Region 10 area of public schools, and is administered by New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. Staff members affiliated with the project are from Steinhardt's Department of Teaching and Learning, which has more than 45 full-time faculty and 1,200 students. Its faculty members have distinguished records of innovation in curriculum development, research, and instruction, in addition to leading numerous field-based projects that provide important connections between the University and urban classrooms throughout the city. TFAT offices are located in the Ruth Horowitz Center for Teacher Development, the school of education's home for field-based initiatives offering innovative professional development for teachers in the greater New York City metropolitan area.
