Foreign Language Education

Program of Study

In order to complete the BS in Foreign Language Education, you must take 128 points (or credits) of course work. Your program of study consists of 64 points of liberal arts courses, which includes 32 points of the required College Core Curriculum; and an additional 64 points of course work, including 36 points of content core (intensive linguistic work in the language of your choice) and 36 points of common and specialized pedagogical core classes that build your skills in teaching techniques and creating curricula. You will complete two semesters of teaching opportunities in a public or independent school setting.
