Teacher Certification

The Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development’s teacher education program has been accredited by the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC) for a period of five years. The accreditation certifies that the Steinhardt School teacher education program has provided evidence that it adheres to TEAC’s quality principles. The accreditation affirms the claim that NYU Steinhardt uses evidence to develop and improve its programs that prepare teachers.
