Applicant Types
NYU Steinhardt Global Programs are open to graduate and undergraduate students from all NYU Schools, Non-NYU graduate students and professionals who are not enrolled at an academic institution (Note: At this time Non-NYU undergraduates are not eligible to apply to Steinhardt Global Programs) Participants may earn 3-6 academic credits or participate for non-credit. Non-credit participation is available for select, qualified graduate students or for professionals who have completed a bachelor’s degree and have related work experience. Not all programs accept undergraduates. Please refer to details on the program page.
Application Instructions
We are now accepting applications for summer 2012. Admissions are in rounds; the application deadline and notification schedule below provides details. Spaces are limited and some programs do close before the final application deadline. Applicants are encouraged to apply early.
The application for Intersession 2012 programs is now closed. The application for Intersession 2013 will become available in August 2012.
Steps to Completing Your Application:
- Create an account and submit your application by clicking on the button below:
- You will be automatically directed to pay your non-refundable Deposit #1 ($100) upon completing your application. This is the only deposit required at the time of application submission and only completed applications with Deposit 1 ($100) will be reviewed.
- Non-NYU students will be required to submit a hard copy of transcript(s) from all institutions where they have earned a degree, before receiving an official admissions decision.
- Upon acceptance into a program, you must submit a non-refundable Deposit #2 ($300) by the date indicated below to reserve your place in the program.
- * These deposits will be put towards the final Housing & Activity fees.

Scholarships
Scholarships for participation in summer 2012 programs are avilable through Steinhardt Global Programs. An application (to be posted soon) is required.
