Each day we went on two expeditions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. For each expedition we would disembark from the ship on a panga and arrive on the island through a dry or wet landing. A dry landing is one in which we stepped out of the panga/dinghy onto rocks. A wet landing is one in which the panga/dinghy edges onto a sandy beach and passengers step into knee-deep water and wade ashore.
The following pages of this website will allow visitors to experience our daily expeditions and learn more about the habitats and endemic species of the Galapagos Islands.
