Plan Ahead: Catalog and some services unavailable on January 5th

Due to a necessary upgrade, the Library Catalog (BobCat) as well as E-ZBorrow, Interlibrary Loan (ILL), Course Reserves, and our Room Reservation system will not be available between 7:30-11:00 AM EST on January 5th, 2017.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will get our systems up and running as quickly as possible.

New Databases
We have a number of new databases, including Lexis Advance, Shakespeare in Performance, and Music Magazine Archive. See all our new databases.

Request E-ZBorrow Books Before Winter Recess
E-ZBorrow books will not be delivered during the Winter Recess, from December 24th to January 4th. To guarantee delivery of any books you need before the break, please place requests by Monday, December 12th.

Place Materials on Course Reserve, Save Your Students Money
Teaching in spring? NYU Libraries can place books, DVDs, and personal materials on reserve for your course or link to library e-resources. This enables your students to save money on course materials, and get access to the information they need. Submit your reserve request now for the Spring semester.

Distinguished Administrator Award for 2016-2017: Nominate a Deserving Administrator

Recognizing extraordinary colleagueship and performance through the Distinguished Administrator Award is an honored tradition at NYU. Nominations for the 2016-2017 Distinguished Administrator Award are underway through Thursday, January 5, 2017.

The Team Achievement Award recognition has been retired. Please consider nominating a deserving employee for the Distinguished Administrator Award or, beginning January 6, 2017, the Give-A-Violet Award.

TRUMP TEACH-IN

Please come to an urgent teach-in to help make sense of what a Donald Trump presidency means for this country and the world, to be held on Thursday, November 10th. 

The event will take place between 1 pm – 4 pm, at 53 Washington Square South, in the auditorium of the King Juan Carlos Building. All welcome.

Speakers will include NYU faculty and students.
