Graduation Honors and Awards – Arch Award, Banner Bearer, Student Speaker – Submission Deadline February 15, 2015

You can self-nominate for the Arch Award, the Departmental Banner Bearer or submit a speech to be considered as the Student Speaker.  Visit our graduation website at: http://steinhardt.nyu.edu/graduation/awards/ to see if you are eligible to apply for graduation honors and awards.

The Arch Award is presented to both a graduating undergraduate and a graduating graduate student in recognition of their cumulative record of service to classmates, the faculty, and the administration of NYU Steinhardt.

The Departmental Banner Bearer – One graduating undergraduate and one graduating master’s candidate from each department receives this award, which includes the honor of carrying the department’s banner in the Baccalaureate Ceremony or Valedictory Celebration.

Student Speaker at School Ceremonies – If you would like to be considered for this special honor, please review carefully the eligibility requirements at our Steinhardt graduation website.

Submit the text of a graduation speech no later than Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. No specific format or topic is preferred. The speech may be serious, humorous, personal or more general, but it may be no more than 3 minutes long.
