Inside NYU Steinhardt: Jenn Wells of Student Services Elected Co-Chair of Professional Society

Jenn Wells (MA ’09), assistant director for counseling and student services in Steinhardt’s Office of Student Affairs, was elected co-chair of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators’ MultiRacial Knowledge Community.  In her role, Wells will represent the Knowledge Community’s needs and issues at national meetings.

“In her elected position, Jenn will have a voice in the national conversation about respect for difference and insuring inclusion,” said Patricia Carey, associate dean for student affairs. “It’s an honor that speaks to Jenn’s professionalism and leadership in this important area.”

The MultiRacial Knowledge Community is an organization that brings multiracial and mixed-heritage issues and related research to the forefront of higher education.

Wells earned a master’s degree in student personnel administration in Steinhardt’s program in higher education and student affairs.
