Making the List: Steinhardt Celebrates Its Most Influential Students

The Washington Square News has released its annual list of “The Most Influential Students” and four exceptional Steinhardt students are among fifteen chosen this year.

Congratulations to:

Chelsea Garbell , a junior majoring in Media, Culture, and Communication, with a minor in Public Health and Policy. Chelsea is president of Bridges, a Muslim-Jewish Interfaith Dialogue club.

Elizabeth Glaeser , a senior majoring in Applied Psychology with minors in Gender and Sexuality Studies and Child and Adolescent Health. Elizabeth works with the LGBT community through Steinhardt’s Center for Health, Identity, Behavior, and Prevention Studies.

Stephen Marositz , a senior majoring in Childhood Education and Childhood Special Education, with a minor in American Sign Language. Stephen is president of the NYU chapter of the Council for Exceptional Children, which helps children with disabilities succeed in school.

James Neely , a senior majoring in Music Technology. James is co-founder and president of the Black Student Union.
