Pioneering Video Artist Peter Campus Reviewed in The New York Times

Calling for Shantih, an exhibition by Peter Campus of the Department of Art and Art Professions, is the subject of a review by Ken Johnson in The New York Times. Johnson describes Campus’ work, which is on display at Christin Tierney Gallery until December 18, 2010, as ‘soothingly meditative and incipiently transcendental.’ Campus’ art is included in collections at the MoMA, the Whitney Museum, the Guggenheim Museum, the Tate Modern, and Centre Pompidou.

Peter Campus is a clinical associate professor at the Steinhardt School.
