How do shifting activities and arrangements on campus fundamentally alter the relationship between science, commerce and the academe?
Jason Owen-Smith is an Assistant Professor of Sociology & Organizational Studies at the University of Michigan. He is interested in the intersection of science, formal organizations, and the economy. With collaborators, he engages in projects that examine the role of academic research institutions in economic growth, the evolution of innovation networks, and network-based organizational learning.
