CARE
The National Commission on Asian American and Pacific Islander Research in Education
The purpose of CARE is to identify and examine the key issues affecting Asian Americans in higher education. Funded by the College Board in 2004, the project includes an assessment of Asian American participation in higher education across various US regions with consideration for the differences in socio-economic, ethnic and national backgrounds among Asian-American students. The project will culminate with the development of a national, cross-sectional database of indicators of equity and a broad body of literature that will serve as new resources in Asian American research in education.
