The Alliance for International Higher Education Policy Studies

The Alliance for International Higher Education Policy Studies is a collaborative project among researchers in Mexico, the United States and Canada that looks at the relationship between changes in higher education policy and student performance in the three countries. This project began in 1999, and has included detailed analyses of higher education system performance based on varying federal, state, and institutional policy contexts. Through a series of 12 case studies of state or provincial higher education systems, AIHEPS aims to make relevant information about the effect of policy on student outcomes available to a wide policy audience. This project receives funding from the Ford Foundation.
