Jasmine Soltani

Jasmine Soltani is a Junior Research Analyst and the Assistant Data Manager at the Research Alliance for New York City Schools. Jasmine contributes statistical analyses to a variety of Research Alliance projects. She also helps to build, maintain, and secure the Research Alliance’s archive of data about New York City schools, assists with professional development for other Research Alliance analysts, and provides in-house SAS expertise.

Prior to joining the Research Alliance, Jasmine was a Technical Research Assistant for the Young Adult and Postsecondary Education Policy area at MDRC, where she worked on randomized controlled trials assessing the effectiveness of programs aimed at improving college access, retention, and completion among low-income youth, and contributed to statistical analyses for studies of performance-based scholarships as part of the data team.

Jasmine holds a B.A. from New York University in international relations with a focus on Latin American culture and politics.
