The weather and venue couldn’t have been more perfect for the evening when so many joined together to honor our beloved former chair, the late Dr. Arthur J. Nelson, Jr.  Friends, family, colleagues and students paid tribute to Dr. Nelson the clinician and researcher, professor and PT pioneer, who was a fixture in the PT Department for 36 years.

Dr. Nelson loved the NYU Physical Therapy Department, as evidenced by how tirelessly he gave of himself. Make a much-needed donation, earmarked for the Dr. Arthur J. Nelson, Jr. Human Performance Laboratory, where so much of the research and thinking begun by Dr. Nelson continues every day.
