Vocal Performance

What I do to de-stress:
Take walks around the city to discover new places, read a book or magazine for pleasure, listen to music, see a Broadway show, go to dinner with friends, shop
I would like to be remembered for my:
ability to use my talents to help others
My favorite course at NYU:
Scene Study
Community service activity I'm most proud of:
Performing at two Cherish Our Children International/Kilroy Productions benefits for children in Africa and for Hurricane Katrina
After I graduate, I:
would like to begin a successful performance career, continue to use my talents to help others and attend graduate school
Why I chose this program at NYU Steinhardt:
I chose the Vocal Performance (Musical Theatre) program because I know that it will provide me with a strong foundation for a good career, expose me to wonderful experiences, and because I am confident that it will train me to be an honest performer
A book from class I would never sell back:
Freeing the Natural Voice by Kristin Linklater
My inspiration:
My Family
My favorite place to study around NYU:
On the 2nd floor of Bobst Library, in a lounge in Kimmel or in my dorm room
If I took a year off from my current life, I would:
travel to different parts of the world to help children who have limited educational opportunities
Prized possession:
My rings
The professor who influenced me the most:
Professor Dianna Heldman
