Three things I have with me at all times:
Blackberry, Chapstick and a Metro Card
My inspiration:
My mother, hands down.
My prized possession:
My great grandmother's tiny perfume bottle.
After I graduate, I:
would love to continue to work at AOL Radio, but for a paycheck (not school credit).
The longest it took me to write a paper:
It was long, but definitely not painful about 5 days.
Best course at NYU:
I honestly don't think i can pick just one. I am going to go with Top Four 1) Advertising 2) Media Crit. 3) Gender and Comm. 4) ASL (American Sign Language)
Why I chose this program:
I've come across this question quite a bit and I can't honeslty say I chose this program, because on some level I've felt like it chose me. The communications program at Steinhardt seems to fit my personality and academic/career goals.
Favorite Book (please include author):
Tortilla Flats, John Steinbeck
The professor who has influenced me the most:
Lisa Shaw, English Professor at Miami Dade College, I wouldn't be in NY without her amazing influence.
Most adventurous thing I've ever done:
Removing invasive insects in the middle of the Everglades in 3 foot deep wet marsh
If I took a year off from my current life, I would:
Travel around the world and finish my book.
Favorite study spot at NYU:
Worst job I've ever had:
Graveyard shift at Denny's
