Graduate Student Spotlights

Educational Psychology

Briefly tell us why you chose your program:
Educational Psychology is a very interesting major, why because it involves the study of how we learn in an educational setting, the effects of educational tools and interventions. There is so much behind the psychology of teaching, such as how a student can excel tremendously with one teacher but not with another and this may be because of the teachers' style of teaching and how they go about it. What's more challenging is focusing on how gifted children (children with disabilities) learn and develop. Its fascinating to find more advanced ways to help a student learn.
