Briefly tell us why you chose your program:
After receiving my undergraduate degree in musical theatre I knew I wanted to pursue further studies to strengthen my knowledge and abilities. NYU offered a wonderful program and the perfect environment. I have the opportunity to work with wonderfully talented professors who have had very successful careers in the business and have much to offer their students. I also am fortunate enough to live in the heart of the musical theatre world. I am able to constantly enrich my theatre background both at school and through the wonderful opportunities found in New York City.
My inspiration is:
My dad - he works so incredibly hard so I can have the oportunities I do.
I would like to be remembered for:
Entertaining people - making them laugh, or just putting a smile on their face.
Something I collect:
Why I went to Graduate School:
I wanted to further my training in a focused program, and also have the opportunity to teach at a a college level in several years.
My best job ever:
would be to perform on Broadway.
A hobby I have is:
Singing and playing the guitar.
The professor who influenced me the most:
Bill Wesbrooks.
My favorite place to study is:
my bedroom.
My best commuity service experience:
Working with a performance based community outreach program in undergrad.
My secret passion is:
Performing. However, it is no secret.
If I could take a year off I would:
Spend as much time as possible with my fiancee and family - hopefully traveling!

Where you grew up:
Medina, OH
What are your plans after you graduate?
To remain in New York City and try to get my performance career off the ground. The ultimate goal being Broadway.

· Graduated Cum Laude, Cumulative GPA of 3.662 (Ashland University, BA Musical Theatre) · Ashland University Dean's List 6 of 9 Semesters, Ashland University President's Scholarship (Academic), Ashland University Theatre Department Performance Scholarship, Ashland University Music Department Performance Scholarship, NYU Steinhardt Graduate Performance Scholarship
Community Service and Other Activities:
While in undergrad, I was part of a community outreach performance program. We prepared musical shows and we would take them throughout the surrounding communities performing at nursing homes, schools, churches, etc. It was a great opportunity to do what I love while sharing our gifts with others.
