Music Composition for Film and Multimedia

Briefly tell us why you chose your program:
I chose to study film and multimedia scoring because writing and performing in all different styles is what makes music so exciting for me. The program at NYU Steinhardt is without a doubt, the best place on the east coast to learn the craft of synchronizing music to picture. The faculty is absolutely top-notch and the opportunities for getting Hollywood-quality film music recordings are plentiful thanks to the new, state-of-the-art recording facilities.
