Dance Education

Briefly tell us why you chose your program:
I have always enjoyed working with children. Teaching dance is something that I have always been drawn to, in one form or another. NYU Steinhardt's Dance Education program is the perfect way for me to further my education while being exposed to great teachers in a culturally rich city. This program also gave me an opportunity to travel to Uganda, Africa and meet and teach alongside newly found Ugandan friends. I am learning and experiencing all that my field has to offer and I owe that to NYU.
