Graduate Student Spotlights

Joanna Dritsas

Occupational Therapy

Briefly tell us why you chose your program:
I chose NYU Steinhardt's Occupational Therapy program because it is the top masters program for Occupational Therapy in New York City. It offers a variety of interests in the field and opportunities to work closely with professors with similar interests. The tight knit community allows for a comfortable learning environment that teaches students the importance of being a knowledgeable health professional and viewing a client hollistically. The study abroad opportunity to Ghana allows students to experience the impact of occupational therapy on a global scale.
