NYC Department of Education Recruitment and Career Fair Information

The NYC Department of Education has launched their new recruitment application for 2009. Students interested in applying should visit their website at http://teachnyc.net/. The application consists of information about yourself, including your education, certification, references, resume and two essay questions. Applicants who apply early will be considered for first hiring events in the spring, including central interviews in February and the launch of the 2009 New Teacher Finder Database on March 1st.   

NOTE: The NYC DOE will be conducting various Career Fairs this Spring and Summer. In order to be considered for both positions and for admittance to the Career Fairs you must complete an application.
