A range of people make up the lively and close-knit community within the Department of Occupational Therapy.

The department's faculty members are drawn from a variety of backgrounds within the occupational therapy profession, but all of them are committed to providing a world-class educational experience to their students. Our students are united by a common mission to make a difference in the lives of others, and this is what drew them to occupational therapy. Even after graduating, OT alumni remain actively involved in departmental activities and events - whether it is organizing lectures, get-togethers or publishing an alumni newsletter. And without the OT administrative staff, the day-to-day running of the department would not be as smooth as it is today. Together, all these people make up the Department of Occupational Therapy at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.
