Career opportunities are available for NYU graduates as
- Practitioners and administrators in health facilities.
- Health planners and policy makers in government and public service agencies.
- Educators in colleges and universities.
- Private practitioners or independent contractors in schools, home health agencies, and health service corporations.

The curriculum provides a solid academic foundation in theory and treatment courses in the full range of professional practice further solidified by extensive fieldwork experience.
