If you are a practicing OT you could be eligible to take a course at NYU Steinhardt (tuition free), through the Remuneration Program.
Education Affiliates Remuneration Program enables fieldwork sites to earn the value of three (3) tuition credit points for supervising an occupational therapy Level II Fieldwork student at each facility. These awards are provided under the following conditions in recognition of the significant contribution that each supervisor makes to the education of our students.
- Those eligible for the award must be occupational therapists at the site, which have mentored the student(s). No other rehabilitation or education professionals are eligible. In a situation where the direct supervisor is not an occupational therapist, the direct supervisor is the only non-occupational therapist who is eligible.
- Courses to which tuition credits are applied must be taken within one calendar year from the end of the term during which they were earned for supervision of an occupational therapy student on Level II Fieldwork.
- Six (6) credits are the maximum number which may be used by any one person in one term.
- The award program covers tuition only. It does not cover registration service fees, the health service fee, late tuition fee or any other fee you may incur. You are responsible for paying these fees. Schedule of Fees.
